I’m excited to share some wonderful news with you! In celebration of the 80th anniversary of V-E Day (Victory in Europe), we are preparing to release four remarkable physical titles and one captivating digital title. Each of these releases pays tribute to the extraordinary narratives and themes of World War II, bringing to life the powerful emotions and stories represented in films and television projects from that era.
Our first two releases feature scores by the same renowned composer, spanning two distinct decades—one from the dynamic 1960s and the other from the evocative 1980s. While these scores have been released before, we have meticulously revisited the original recordings to enhance their quality. We’ve revamped the artwork to match the vibrancy of the music and completed a comprehensive remastering process, resulting in significantly improved sound clarity that I’m confident will impress and delight you.
For our third title, we present a score from the vibrant 1970s, originally released on a private CD. With this new edition, we have not only remastered the audio but also designed fresh artwork that captures the essence of the film. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised by our efforts to enhance this remarkable work—it’s truly a feast for the ears.
The fourth release will also take you back to the 1970s and features the unparalleled talent of an acclaimed composer. For this reissue, we have fully remastered the score to elevate its sonic brilliance. Additionally, we are thrilled to include a track that appeared on a rare version of the score. As a special bonus, we will present a stunning suite from an alternate score crafted for the European edition of the same film, composed by a different artist using the surviving music and effects track. This is a hidden gem you won’t want to miss!
Last but certainly not least, our digital offering features another World War II score from the 1970s, composed by a talented artist making their debut on Dragon's Domain. This score has undergone thorough remastering, providing a rich and immersive listening experience, accompanied by visually captivating artwork that beautifully complements the music. It will be available simultaneously with our four physical releases.

We have some thrilling news to share this Wednesday as we unveil four exciting new titles, including one digital-only release and three physical editions that we believe will delight collectors and music enthusiasts alike.
First on our list is a remastered version of a timeless classic from one of the most iconic film composers of all time. This particular collection, originally released in the 1990s and now long out of print, features stunning newly created artwork that pays homage to the composer’s legacy. We’ve worked diligently to enhance the sound quality, allowing listeners to experience the music as it was meant to be heard. While we’re excited about this release, we’ll hold off on sharing audio clips for now to keep some surprises in store.
Next, we’re pleased to highlight a unique release from one of our favorite composers, known for creating captivating scores that tell stories through sound. This release features two different scores intricately connected by a single, unifying theme. Both pieces were composed during the late 1970s and early 1980s, a golden period for film music that captured the essence of its time. While we regret to inform you that there are no autographed items available due to the composer’s passing, their remarkable body of work continues to resonate with audiences today. Following that, we have an impressive addition to our Golden Age collection, which focuses on showcasing the talents of several underrepresented composers whose contributions have been overlooked in the mainstream narrative. 3 New titles from Dragon's Domain Recordings on March 12th
Greetings, everyone!
We have been shipping out our last 4 titles all week so many should have those in Hand shortly and we hope you enjoy them.
On March 12, Dragon’s Domain Recordings will be releasing three new titles, all centered around a science fiction theme that we believe will be of great interest to our customer base. Normally, we provide audio clips as hints, but this time, all three titles are so recognizable that we will skip that step.
Additionally, later this month, we will be introducing some new digital-only releases that should also pique your interest. More details on those will come soon.
What I can share is that one of the scores is from the late 1970s, another is from the late 1980s, and the final title will be a two-CD set reissue of two beloved recordings from the 1980s. We are thrilled to bring this back into print, newly remastered for improved sound quality.

Some of our upcoming projects, like documentary scores and obscure titles, may not be viable for physical release due to limited appeal. We strive to provide a physical-like experience for digital releases, offering high-resolution audio and a digital booklet with accompanying notes.

Update from BSX about the California fires and new releases

California is facing significant wildfires, but we want to reassure you that we are safe and unaffected. Thank you for your concern.
On another note, many of you in the USA should have received our latest releases: "The Golden Age of Science Fiction, Vol. 7" and "Gold of the Amazon Women." We're still waiting for "The Bruce Broughton Collection, Vol. 1" to arrive from the pressing plant, expected by the end of this week or early next week.
We will soon announce two new physical titles and some digital releases, so stay tuned for updates.
