BSX DIGITAL presents the premiere release of music composed by Kevin Kiner (STAR WARS: THE BAD BATCH, PEACEMAKER, STAR WARS: AHSOKA) from LANGUAGE OF THE ENEMY, the 2008 dramatic film written and directed by Mitch Davis, starring Eion Bailey, Linda Hardy, F. Murray Abraham, Tovah Feldshuh, Alon Neuman, Igal Naor and Sharon Raginiano.

Released in 2008, LANGUAGE OF THE ENEMY, also known as FIRE OVER ISRAEL and A HOUSE DIVIDED, tells the story of Romi Meir (Bailey), an American businessman who travels to Israel for his father’s funeral. He is persuaded by the Israeli Secret Service while he is there to do a brief reconnaissance inside the city Of Ramallah. When the assignment goes awry, Romi finds himself trapped behind enemy lines with Joleh (Hardy), a mysterious Palestinian woman. Caught in the crossfire between opposing sides of the Arab-Israeli conflict, Romi is forced to re-examine his own worldview as well as that of the Palestinians.

The original score to LANGUAGE OF THE ENEMY had a number of difficulties composer Kevin Kiner had to surmount first and foremost. He had to evoke Israel, as well as the culture represented by both the Israelis and Palestinians, and the tragic love story that is the backbone of the film. Kevin was able to secure the services of the City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and this was his first experience working with the group, which he would later use in many other projects.

Prolific composer Kevin Kiner began his film music career in 1985, scoring a number of television projects, including all 100+ episodes of the syndicated 1988-92 superhero TV series SUPERBOY. His subsequent, mostly television, endeavors range from animated STAR WARS series such as THE CLONE WARS and THE BAD BATCH, Westerns and cop TV shows like WALKER, TEXAS RANGER, CSI: MIAMI and NARCOS: MEXICO, and DC superhero shows such as DOOM PATROL, PEACEMAKER and TITANS.

BSX Digital presents the premiere release of LANGUAGE OF THE ENEMY, featuring music composed by Kevin Kiner. The music has been mastered by James Nelson at Digital Outland and includes liner notes by writer G.B. Kemner.
