FLYING CAN BE HELL.

Dragon's Domain Records presents the original soundtrack to the Girls and Corpses Film production of EXORCISM AT 60,000 FEET starring Robert Miano, Bill Moseley, Lance Henriksen and Adrienne Barbeau with music composed by Richard Band.

We all know that air travel can be hell – but on the last flight of a transatlantic passenger airliner, things turn positively demonic when a pandemic of infernal possessions breaks out, spreading from passenger to passenger... and eventually to the pilot. In order to land safely and survive, a priest, a rabbi, and the surviving crew must band together against the most ungodly turbulence imaginable.

Richard Band was born in Los Angeles on December 28, 1953. He is the son of film producer-director-writer Albert Band (THE RED BADGE OF COURAGE – screen adaptation), brother to producer-distributor Charles Band (Empire Pictures & Full Moon), and uncle to young rock star Alex Band of the rock group The Calling. Richard gained his love for music at an early age, and while living in Rome with his family in the 1960s began forming his own bands and touring around Europe accompanied by four adult musicians, achieving great success. In 1970 he returned to the United States. Not wanting to be a “rock & roll” star like almost every other musician in Los Angeles at the time, Richard realized he would have to begin studying music more seriously. He began his formal music studies at the Immaculate Heart College in 1972, and later studied privately with John Ringgold and composer Dorrance Stalvey of the famous “Monday Evening Concerts.” Since the late 1970s Band has been composing film music regularly, specializing in science fiction and horror subjects. He’s scored more than 100 films to date, including FROM BEYOND (1986), which won the award for Best Original Soundtrack at the Sitges Film Festival. In 1991 he received a nomination for the Fangoria Chainsaw Award for Best Soundtrack with his music to THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM (1991). His score for the MASTERS OF HORROR episode “Dreams in the Witch House” (2006) was nominated for an Emmy Award for best score; and his score for THE RE-ANIMATOR has been widely acclaimed. The 2019 horror-comedy EXORCISM AT 60,000 FEET, directed by Chad Ferrin (THE GHOULS [2003], PARASITES [2016], THE PROPHECY [1995]) stars Robert Miano, Bai Ling, Lance Henriksen, Adrienne Barbeau, Bill Moseley, and Kevin J. O'Connor in a story about the passengers and crew, along with a priest and a rabbi on board a transatlantic passenger airliner, must team together to save a plane from a pandemic of demonic possessions. Band’s music for this film won Best Original Score at the Hollywood Horrorfest in 2019.
