Hitchcock Media Records proudly presents the premiere release of veteran composer Don Peake's delightful score for the 2003 independent comedy-drama Frankie and Johnny Are Married, written and directed by Michael Pressman. The film chronicles the often-hilarious and sometimes painful attempts of a television producer to mount a stage production of Terrence McNally's acclaimed play Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, while simultaneously navigating the challenges of his own marriage. The film stars Michael Pressman, Lisa Chess, Alan Rosenberg, and Stephen Tobolowsky. 

For the film, Don Peake crafted a warm, intimate, and irresistibly engaging score that perfectly captures the movie's blend of romance, comedy, and behind-the-scenes theatrical chaos. Anchored by an expressive jazz ensemble featuring Peake himself on guitar, the score combines sophisticated jazz textures, heartfelt melodies, and playful character-driven writing. The result is a charming musical companion that reflects both the humor and humanity at the heart of the film. Peake's score was performed by an outstanding group of jazz musicians, including Brian Bromberg, Plas Johnson, Michael Melvoin, Steven Hufsteter, and Mike Stephans.
