Hill, starring Mary McDonnell, William Russ, Jack Coleman, Erik vonDetten, Camilla Belle, Hayden Tank, Stephen Meadows and Tippi Hedren.

Airing on television in 1999, REPLACING DAD follows Linda Marsh (McDonnell), a housewife with a seemingly perfect life in an idyllic small town. One day, Linda decides to surprise her husband, George (Russ) at the school where he is the principal on the day of their 16th anniversary. The surprise is on her instead as she catches George kissing a teacher and her life quickly starts to unravel. George moves out of the house and they begin arguing over where the children should live. Drew and Mandy, the older children remain angry with George while the youngest child dresses up in a bunny suit and retreats into a deep depression... As life continues to descend into chaos through a seemingly never-ending series of reconciliations and missteps, Linda tries to date other men and George tries to commit suicide after his lover breaks off their relationship.

Lee Holdridge was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on March 3, 1944, and began his musical career studying violin with Hugo Mariani after his family moved to Costa Rica. Finishing high school in Boston, he went on to study composition with Nicholas Flagello and Stephen Sondheim in New York. There, he began to explore many compositional styles — for theatrical stage, chamber, rock, and underscoring short films — before coming to the attention of singer Neil Diamond.

After collaborating on several hit albums, Diamond asked Holdridge to assist in creating the Grammy Award-winning score for JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL (1973). That same year, he also created music for the teen love story JEREMY.

Holdridge soon became an in-demand composer, scoring such popular films as THE BEASTMASTER (1982), MR. MOM (1983), SPLASH (1984), OLD GRINGO (1989), INTO THIN AIR: DEATH ON EVEREST (1997), and INTO THE ARMS OF STRANGERS: STORIES OF THE KINDERTRANSPORT (2000). For television, he provided music for the mini-series EAST OF EDEN (1981), ATOMIC TRAIN (1999), 10.5 (2004), and established the musical formats for MOONLIGHTING (1985-89) and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (1987-89).
