The timepiece possesses an extraordinary power: when activated, it can stop time for everyone except the person holding it, leading to a variety of humorous and suspenseful situations, as Kirby and his spirited girlfriend Bonnie Lee Beaumont (Purcell) attempt to use the watch to save her family farm from unscrupulous land developers.
